ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY (Mindanao Examiner / Aug. 22, 2014) – A man stabbed his own brother and sister who accused him of stealing from their house in the town of Malangas in Zamboanga Sibugay province in southern Philippines, police said Friday.

Police said the 35-year old Amil Ian Michael Tampipi attacked his siblings Janena Alma Bella Tampipi, 29, and Malik Ibno Abdullah Tampipi, 20, with a katana after confronting the duo in their house at Purok Malaumon.

Amil’s younger brother managed to fight back and also stabbed him in his thigh that gave the victims enough time to call the police.

The three were all rushed to the hospital. (Mindanao Examiner)
