A man has been charged with murder following a stabbing in Sheffield.
Steven Ray, aged 36, of Thornborough Road, Heeley, Sheffield, is accused of killing 29-year-old Rory Hemmings, from Woodhouse, who was stabbed in his chest.
Emergency services were called to a house in Errington Crescent, Arbourthorne, at around 8.50am on Sunday after Mr Hemmings was found injured.
Paramedics battled to save him but he died a short time later.
The murder suspect appeared before Sheffield magistrates yesterday, where he was remanded in custody until his next hearing at Sheffield Crown Court.
A 27-year-old woman arrested in connection with the death has been released without charge.(The Star)
