Synopsis:

At 4:00 p.m. today, the center of Tropical Depression “CRISING” was estimated based on all available data at 80 km Southwest of General Santos City (5.7°N, 124.5°E) with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center. It is forecast to move west northwest at 24 kph.

Forecast:

Mindanao and Palawan will experience rains and gusty winds. Visayas will be cloudy with moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Bicol Region, CALABARZON, Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will be cloudy with light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over the rest of the country and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
