ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / August 02, 2012) – A policeman was killed after his motorcycle collided head on with a jeep in Zamboanga City in the southern Philippines.
Police identified the victim as PO1 Gilbert Jebulan, assigned with the 2nd Regional Public Safety Company in Pagadian City in Zamboanga del Sur province.
It said Jebulan was driving his motorcycle when it collided with the jeep in the village of Caragasan. The driver, Nurjiman Rajjan, surrendered to the police.
Police said Rajjan could face criminal charges over the death of the policeman. It was not immediately known whether Jebulan’s family would file charges against Rajjan. (Angelie Cahulugan)
