Editor December 28, 2011

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Dec. 28, 2011) – The Interreligious Solidarity Movement for Peace (IRSMP) and Peace Advocates Zamboanga (PAZ) held recently the PAZSALAMAT 2011 as both organizations reflected on their various programs that brought change to the lives of many people in Mindanao.

In the very meaningful gathering – with the theme “Flourishing 2011, Moving our Peace Frontiers” – held in Zamboanga City, the organizations cited many many reasons on the success of the Culture of Peace in the region, particularly in Zamboanga, in 2011.

Zamboanga Basilan Integrated Development Alliance (ZABIDA) and Youth Solidarity for Peace (YSP) also revealed the various reasons of how it flourished its programs in 2011.

Fr. Angel Calvo, lead convener of the IRSMP and President of PAZ, said: “The synergies and partnership in the spirit of peace and solidarity made our collective efforts as a model in building more communities filled with hope and thrust.” (Aldrin Abdurahim)
