ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / May 9, 2013) – Police recovered a body of a man, whose head was wrapped in a cellophane and bore a gunshot wound, in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines.
The body was found in the village of Lubigan near a military post. Militias guarding the area said they heard no gunshots and the victim may have been killed elsewhere and the body dumped in the village to confuse the police.
Police launched an investigation into the murder. It said the body remains unidentified. (Mindanao Examiner)
