GCG launches the Leadership Award for outstanding GOCC Board Members; seeks public feedback on nominees
In a move to further elevate corporate governance, the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) has introduced a new category under its annual GCG Awards ceremony ─ the Leadership Award.
The award is designed to give tribute to outstanding Appointive Members of GOCC Governing Boards who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, strategic vision, and governance excellence in their role; as well as, whose exemplary performance, significant contributions and remarkable accomplishments in public corporate sector have resulted in improvement and enhanced development in the GOCC, its stakeholders and communities.
As part of its stringent validation process, GCG enjoins stakeholders and the public to participate in the evaluation process. For insights on the nominees’ performance and impact, interested parties may submit feedback via gcgawards@gcg.gov.ph until 17 October 2025. (PR)
