DIPOLOG CITY – Mayor Evelyn Uy expressed her appreciation and gratitude to those who supported the P’gsalabuk Visual Art Exhibit dubbed “Diversity” in Dipolog City in Zamboanga del Norte province.
The art exhibit was participated by 82 professional and young artists. The exhibit is now displayed at the Dipolog City Center for Culture and the Arts in Casa Bernedo and will run for the whole month as part of the 15th P’gsalabuk Festival, an annual event celebrated here.
Uy also praised the local artists who have helped raise the awareness of the locals in their appreciation of culture and arts and in honing the artistic skills of the young by conducting summer art workshops.
She expressed optimism that with the continuing support extended by the local artists to the city government’s culture and arts promotion.
