ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Apr. 27, 2013) – Police arrested a 23-year old woman whose fetus was found inside a hotel room in the southern Filipino port city of Zamboanga, officials said.
Officials said the woman was identified through the surveillance camera of La Hermosa Hotel and eventually tracked down and arrested.
Officials said the fetus was discovered inside the comfort room and the hotel staff reported this to the police. The hotel provided the police the camera footage and has identified the woman and the company where she is working and eventually arrested.
It was not immediately known whether the fetus was alive or dead when the mother left it in the bathroom. (Mindanao Examiner)
