ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Sept. 2, 2013) – Naglabas ng isang resolution ang mga senior leaders ng Moro National Liberation Front at hiniling nito sa pamahalaang Aquino na i-recall ang 2 note verbale na ipinadala ng gobyerno sa Organization of Islamic Cooperation upang itigil na ang review sa 1996 peace agreement nito sa dating rebeldeng grupo.
Susuportahan umano ng mga senior leaders ng MNLF ang peace process sa kondisyon bawiin ng pamahalaan ang dalawang diplomatic communications na ipinadala ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario nuong January 30 at March 21.
Inilabas ang resolution matapos ng MNLF Senior Leaders’ Forum sa Zamboanga City at nakasaad doon na: “The MNLF Senior Leaders Forum is ready to recommend among the leaders to join or constitute the membership of the MNLF peace panel for the resumption of the tripartite meeting as soon as possible in order to conclude the process to the satisfaction of the concerned parties.”
“And that we welcome the proposal to achieve a more comprehensive and inclusive political solution to the Bangsamoro problem through convergence of the two peace processes involving the MNLF and the MILF.”
Nilagdaan nina Abebakrin Lukman at Abuamri Tadik, parehong acting secretaries ng MNLF Senior Leaders’ Forum ang resolution at pinatunayan ni Yusop Jikiri, ang presiding chairman.
Ang dalawang diplomatic communications rin ang dahilan kung bakit umalma si MNLF chieftain Nur Misuari sa pamahalaang Aquino at nagbanta itong magde-deklara ng independence sa Mindanao matapos na akusahan ang Pangulo ng hindi pagsang-ayon sa peace accord.
