It said the house owner, Alfredo Miranda, was arrested and is facing criminal charges for allegedly killing Jesidel Manalo, 11, and John Mendoza, 9.
The duo was collecting scrap metals and were said to have entered Miranda’s house in Talon-Talon village.
The children were first reported missing over the weekend after they failed to return home, but witnesses told police that the duo was last seen entering Miranda’s house.
