
PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Aug. 12, 2013) – Two persons were shot and wounded in an attack by an unidentified gunman in Pagadian City in the southern Filipino province of Zamboanga del Sur, police said Monday.
Police said the weekend attack occurred in the village called Buenavista. The victims, farmers Randy Bahunsua, 38, and Carlito Bahunsua, 58, were drinking when the gunman arrived and without any warning opened fire on them.
The attacker escaped after the shooting and the two men were rushed by villagers to the Jamellarin Hospital which reported the incident to the police.
Investigators said they recovered three bullet casings of a .45-caliber pistol in the crime scene, but the motive of the attack is still unknown. (Mindanao Examiner)
