ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Aug. 22, 2012) – Two people were killed in a road accident in the southern Filipino port city of Zamboanga, police said on Wednesday.
It said the fatal accident killed two passengers of a motorcycle being driven by another man, who was also injured. The accident occurred Tuesday in the village of Tigbalabag where a sport utility vehicle collided with the motorcycle.
The driver of the vehicle surrendered to the police and claimed that he lost control of the wheel following a malfunction of its breaking system. (Angelie Cahulugan)
