ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY (Mindanao Examiner / Feb. 24, 2014) – Police said 2 children who were reported missing by their families had been found dead – floating in a seaweed farm – where they probably drowned while playing at sea in Zamboanga Sibugay province in southern Philippines.
Police said the bodies of Alnazer Amirol, 8; and Zerhan Alisane, 9, were recovered in the village of Caparan in Ipil town two days after they disappeared while playing on a small boat without the knowledge of their families.
The seaweed farm is owned by Jul-Ambre Alisane, the grandfather of one of the boys, who discovered the bloated bodies of the children. Police said the boys had drowned. (Mindanao Examiner)
