CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / May 20, 2013) – Two workers died on Monday after they suffocated inside a well they were digging in the town of Tagoloan in Misamis Oriental province in southern Philippines, police said.
Police identified the victims as Joseph Poleto and Will Naldo. The bodies have been retrieved from the 70-foot well in the village of Santa Ana. Two other workers were also rushed to hospital.
It was not immediately known whether the two fatalities were trapped inside the well, but police launched an investigation into the deaths of Poleto and Naldo. No other details were made available by the police. (Mindanao Examiner)
