
ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner/ Aug. 22, 2012) – Two people were injured in a homemade bomb explosion early Wednesday in Zamboanga City in the southern Philippines, police said.
Police said the blast occurred in a house owned by Asadi Luna in the village of Zambowood. The wounded were identified as Eddie Climaco, 46, Lowi Climaco, 18.
The two were rushed by neighbors to hospital.
Police said an investigation is going to determine whether the explosion was accidental or not. Initial report suggested the explosive was similar to those use in illegal fishing. (Carlissa Horecerada)
