
DIPOLOG CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Aug. 18, 2013) – Three people were wounded in separate gun attacks in Zamboanga del Norte province, police said on Sunday.
Police said an unidentified gunman shot three people, but hit only one in Dapitan City and escaped on a motorcycle after the shooting.
It said the attack wounded Allan Adlawon, who was rushed to hospital. His two companions – Roy Galleposo and Randy Rocamora were both unhurt from the shooting which occurred along Ferdinand Blumentritt in the village of Linabo.
The trio were travelling on a motorcycle when the gunman attacked them. Police investigators recovered about a dozen bullet casings fired from a .45-caliber pistol.
Motorcycle gunmen also shot Carlos Bigota and Basser Naser in downtown Sindangan and his attacker escaped after the shooting.
Police said the two men were selling fruits when the gunman, who arrived on a motorcycle, shot them with without warning.
Police are investigating the motive of the attacks. (Mindanao Examiner)
