4 patay sa opensiba ng NPA

DAVAO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Feb. 17, 2013) – Pinasabugan ng New People’s Army ang isang grupo ng mga sundalo sa panibagong opensiba ng rebeldeng grupo sa Tagum City.

Apat na sundalo umano ang nasawi sa pagsabog ng bomba na itinanim ng mga rebelde sa kalsada sa Barangay Magdum, ngunit mariin itong pinasinungalingan ng militar at sinabing isang tropa ng army lamang ang sugatan.

Binansagan naman terorista ng 10th Infantry Division ang NPA sa ginawa nitong pagpapasabog ng bomba. Kabilang umano ang mga tropa ng militar sa ipinadala upang tumulong sa rehabilitasyon ng mga nasalanta ng nakaraang bagyo sa Davao region.

Nagbabala naman ang NPA na patuloy ang opensiba nito kontra militar na diumano’y nasa likod ng maraming human rights violations, particular sa mga lumad o natibo sa lalawigan. (Mindanao Examiner)
