COTABATO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Aug. 20, 2014) – At least 5 people were hurt in an explosion late Wednesday in Cotabato City in southern Philippines, police said.
Police said the explosion occurred near a public square, but it was unclear whether the blast was from a fragmentation grenade or homemade bomb.
The wounded were rushed to hospital and police said they are investigating the blast or who was behind it. (Mindanao Examiner)
