50 mangingisda pinalaya ng Indonesia, balik Mindanao na

GENERAL SANTOS CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Dec. 13, 2011) – Pinalaya na rin sa wakas ng Indonesia ang 50 mangingisdang Pinoy na dinakip doon mahigit dalawang taon na ang nakalipas dahil sa illegal fishing.

Dumating na kahapon sa General Santos City ang mga mangingisda at napag-alaman na malaki ang naitulong umano ng pamahalaang lokal upang makabalik ang mga ito sa kanilang lugar.

Tubong-General Santos City ang karamihan sa kanila at nakulong sa Indonesia ng mahigit sa dalawang taon dahil sa paglabag sa maritime laws ng Indonesia.

Hindi naman mabatid agad kung bakit walang abogado ang pamahalaan na nagtanggol sa mga mangingisda ng sila’y dakpin o kaya ay umapila sa Jakarta na palayain ang mga Pinoy. (Joseph Jubelag)
