PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Aug. 24, 2014) – A septuagenarian widower had killed himself following a spat with his sister in Sominot town in the southern Philippine province of Zamboanga del Sur, police said Sunday.
Police said the body of the 73-year old man was discovered in his room.
Forensic investigators reported that the old man stabbed himself and cut his wrist with a hunting knife also found in the room.
There was no immediate statement from the victim’s sister about the incident. (Mindanao Examiner)
