ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Feb. 23, 2014) – Three members of the local bomb squad were injured after their van collided and over turned in front of the Zamboanga City Hall in southern Philippines, police said.
Police said the squad members -Senior Police Officer 2 Joselito Guarnes Joaquin together with Police Officer 3 Alfredo Samson Trumata and Sergeant Junilo Latha Cuma – were rushed to hospital.
The trio was heading to Paseo del Mar Park to inspect an abandoned baggage when their van collided with a jeep driven by a former police officer Antolin Rebollos Marcos.
Police said it is investigating the accident. (Mindanao Examiner)
