Police investigators also recovered inside the house a small tally book containing a list of names and what appeared to be a summary of debts.
The motive of the twin killings is still unknown, although police were investigating various reports.
“The husband sustained two gunshot wounds in his head and armpit, while his wife sustained two gunshot wounds in the right side of her body and one on the side of her right breast,” a police report said.
