ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Jun. 20, 2014) – Motorcycle gunmen shot two persons, killing one of them in an attack in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, police said.
Police said Naz Salvin and Mohammad Lao were attacked on Zamboanga highway near the village of Tagasilay. Salvin was instantly killed in the attack while Lao has been rushed to hospital after the gunmen escaped.
The attack occurred just after the duo attended the wedding of their relative. The motive of the shooting is still unknown, although the police launched an investigation into the attack. (Mindanao Examiner)
