PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Jan. 7, 2014) – Motorcycle gunmen shot and wounded a local resident in an attack as police continue in vain to put a stop to the spate of shootings and killings in Pagadian City in Zamboanga del Sur province.
The victim, Osion delos Reyes, 27, was rushed to hospital following the shooting in front of Healing Touch Massage Parlor along Datoc Street in Santa Lucia village.
Delos Reyes was talking to his neighbor when the gunmen arrived and without any warning shot him and hitting his hand and neck with the bullet exiting the cheek.
The gunmen fled on a black Honda XRM motorcycle. The motive of the shooting is still unknown, but gun attacks are not uncommon in Pagadian where hired killers actively operate. (Mindanao Examiner)
