Lauded: King’s stern call stressing noninterference – Arab News

Editor February 9, 2016

The ministers at Monday’s Cabinet meeting lauded Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman’s stern message to other countries to desist from interfering in the internal affairs of the Kingdom.

During his address to key delegates to the Janadriyah festival on Sunday, King Salman had affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to maintain peace and security in the region. The meeting was chaired by the king.
The Cabinet expressed the Kingdom’s appreciation to the UK and other countries for organizing the 4th conference of Syria donors in London. In this context, the Cabinet noted the Kingdom’s provision of $100 million in additional funding to the $90 million previously pledged by the Kingdom at the Kuwait Conference. This reflects the resolve of the Saudi government to help war-hit Syrians. The total Saudi aid for them has exceeded $780 million.
The Cabinet welcomed the determination expressed by the member countries of anti-Daesh alliance at their Rome meeting to confront and crush the terrorist organization.(Arab News)
