Pagadian City tricycle driver shot

PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Dec. 19, 2013) – A tricycle driver was shot and wounded in an attack in Zamboanga del Sur province in southern Philippines, police said Thursday.

Police said Agustin Legan, 49, was heading from Pagadian City when an unidentified man shot him at Purok Tuburan in the village of Balimbingan in Labangan town. It said Legan was hit in the back with the bullet exiting in the stomach.

Police said the gunman fired three times at Legan and escaped after the shooting.

The motive of the shooting is still unknown, but police said it is investigating the attack on the driver. (Mindanao Examiner)
