COTABATO – A lone gunman shot and wounded a school principal in an attack outside a mosque in southern Philippines, authorities said on Saturday.
It said Robin Alamada is critically injured from the attack which occurred in the town of Pikit in North Cotabato. The assailant escaped after the shooting and police are investigating the attack.
Alamada, who teaches at Pagagawan Elementary School in Datu Montawal town, was rushed to the Cruzado Medical Hospital.
No individual has claimed responsibility for the attack. (Mindanao Examiner)
