THE WORD: ANY LIFE THAT DOESN’T INCLUDE ETERNITY IS NOT REAL LIFE.
THAT’s true, life is temporary if eternity has nothing to do with it.
Like one’s life here on the earth, man’s death is one clear proof that his life is merely a borrowed one… from the Lord Almighty, his Creator.
When man dies, his physical body returns to the ground, but his soul returns to God, the author of every creation that is right now in existence.
His soul returns to the Almighty to make a full account of his life while in this material world– meaning he’ll inevitably face final judgment.
IF his name isn’t found in the Book of Life, he’ll certainly be thrown into the fires of hell where he’ll suffer for all eternity. If he’ll be rewarded, as his name is indeed found in the said Book of Life, for certain the Glory of God, will be his forever—meaning eternal and everlasting life awaits him…Wow!
Believe my friend because there are things that are unseen but they’re real. Heaven, hell, the wind, our brains and even our souls can’t be seen by our naked eyes in this physical world, but my friend, they’re real!

JALOSJOS STAFF REMAINS INTACT
ONE afternoon, I found myself inside the former Jalosjos ZTZ/UNA headquarters on Tetuan Highway in Zamboanga. I thought, it was for so long emptied already, but to my surprise, I saw Romy’s ace staff, Jane Leopoldo and her two angels, still very much around. What’s assured of its continuous stay here is the strong presence of my good vice mayoralty bet Madam Mercy Arquiza Fernandez and her ever faithful and ever loyal hubby Ed Fernandez who sticks to her no matter what “Till death do us part.”
I know, Ed wouldn’t like his name ever mentioned what so ever, but Ed, pardon me because I couldn’t help do away my ever excitement to see you people once again.
SEE you more often Ed and Mercy come 2016 elections, as the former Zamboanga del Norte Solon Romy Jalosjos is as robust and as ready as ever for any future polls. News that he can’t run anymore is pure baloney. Remember, the strong Presidential bet for next political exercise is undoubtedly Vice Pres. Jojo Binay, leader of the UNA, the country’s top coalesced party of the opposition nationwide.
So, don’t ever count out the Jalosjos for nothing. You know, Philippine politics, as the famous saying goes: “Weather, weather lang”
FORMER ZAMBOANGA VICE MAYOR KO
EX-VICE MAYOR Bong Ko seems disgusted, as usual over our political leaders here.
FIRST, the ever controversial SP building that he initially filed raps in the Ombudsman for its infamous cracks and other major defects.
“Hasta este tiempo, talli siempre ta uwi kita se defecto,” Ko denounced. (Whatever happens to your complaint Vice Mayor?)
KO, when sitting as the presiding officer of the city’s Sangguniang Panlungsod back in the 90s, was known as always in the forefront in fighting not only the criminals in their heyday, but also in ferreting out enmeshed corruption in the city.
KO, per records, never profited his own salaries, and instead he donated them all while in government service, to the poor but deserving scholars wanting to finish their studies.
He spearheaded a strong campaign vs. illegal loggers in the city while at the helm then, as most of the “hard days’ works” of the then late Lady Mayor Madam Caling Lobregat were done by him.
”Cay akel tiempo, si Ma’am Caling, como mayor, dol mahina’ ya, Jun,” buttressed Bogs, my ever reliable eavesdropper.
“Will you again consider politics, Vice Mayor?” I asked him.
“Hinde’ na Jun, cay sabe man el pueblo, pakimodo yo ya sirvi kanila,” the still energetic and youthful looking Ko out rightly replied.
MNLF SENIOR LEADERS HOLD PRESS CON
THE MNLF Senior Leaders Forum was held recently at the Garden Orchid Hotel in Zamboanga City. Their asking is indeed very legitimate.
“Kami ang nag tanim, pero iba ang umani,” decried one leader of theirs during the press conference.
They are quick to clarify that Prof. Nur Misuari is still their leader to reckon with.
The reason why their group desires the national dispensation under Pres. Noynoy Aquino III, to recognize and to fully implement the Final Peace Agreement forged between the MNLF and the GRP.
They believe that with such a fulfillment, Misuari won’t go to the extent in declaring Independence for Mindanao.
“We want to assuage the feelings of Misuari and his still large group by asking the national government to fully implement the FPA,” they chimed.
In their Resolution – affirming the sustained advocacy of the MNLF Senior Leaders and Commanders to the Primacy of the l996 GRP-MNLFV – OIC Final Peace Agreement (FPA) and the current GRP-MNLF –OIC-PCSP Tripartite Implementation Review of the FPA, the group is seeking their underscored major points (as stated in their Resolution) to be heard and acted upon by the national gov’t as soon as possible.
Amongst them are: Ready to recommend (for government to act) among the leaders to join or constitute the membership of the MNLF peace panel for the resumption of the GRP-MNLF-OIC/PCSP tripartite meeting as soon as possible..; Welcome the proposal to achieve a more comprehensive and inclusive political solution to the Bangsomoro problem through convergence of the two peace processes involving the MNLF and the MILF. This proposal maybe addressed at the Bangsamoro Coordinating Forum as created and established by the OIC in Dec. 2011 with full support of the MNLF and MILF Leaderships, and afford ample livelihood projects to their Bangsamoro people among others.
THE Resolution concluded with its copies furnished to the Sec. Gen. of the OIC, OIC-PCSP, to His Excellency Pres. Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III through OPAPP and to the Honorable Regional Gov. Mujiv Hatamn, ARMM. The Resolution was signed by the following: Abebakrin Lukman- Acting Sec. MSLF; Abuamri Taddik—Acting Sec. MSLF and attested by Yusop Jikiri—Presiding Chairman, MNLF Senior Leaders Forum. (jayfeliciano2@yahoo.com)
