COTABATO CITY – A man was shot dead by his own cousin during a heated altercation outside the victim’s house in Cotabato City in southern Philippines, police said on Monday.
Police said the suspect, Tammy Tambak, fled after fatally shooting Norodin Adam. It said family feud was likely motive for the shooting. Adam was shot in the abdomen with a .45-caliber pistol in Bagua village over the weekend.
The victim was rushed to hospital, but doctors failed to save his life. Police said it is still investigating the shooting and dispatched a team to track down the suspect.
Adam’s family did not release any statement to the media about the killing. (Rhoderick Beñez)
