ZAMBOANGA CITY – A fishing boat crewman hanged himself inside his room after his wife abandoned him following a serious domestic quarrel in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, police said Friday.
Police said the body of the 24-year old Marky Centino was discovered by his sister Manilyn who went to the house to inform her brother that their father had died. The woman sought help from neighbors to take down his brother’s body and tried to revive him, but failed.
Centino reportedly had a quarrel with his wife who eventually abandoned him, taking their children with her. Police did not how many children the couple have or the root cause of their quarrel. (Mindanao Examiner)
