COTABATO CITY (Mindanao Examiner / June 26, 2013) – A grenade explosion was reported at a military encampment late Wednesday in the southern Philippine city of Cotabato, officials said.
Officials said there was no report of casualties in the blast and authorities were investigating the explosion.
It was not immediately known whether the blast was a deliberate attack or accidental.
The military has not released any statement about the explosion. Cotabato City has been bombed many times by rebels in the past. (Mark Navales)
