
ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / June 7, 2013) – Police authorities have not identified the body of man found by residents on a village in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines.
Police said the body bore stab wounds and had been recovered in the village of Tumaga Porcentro.
It said the victim was believed killed elsewhere and the body dumped to the village to confuse police investigators.
Killings have become a common occurrence in Zamboanga City where dozens of murder cases since early this year remain unresolved.
