DIPOLOG CITY (Mindanao Examiner / May 8, 2013) – One person was missing after their jeep plunged in a river in the town of Godod in the southern Philippine province of Zamboanga del Norte, police said Wednesday.
Police said the jeep, driven by a municipal government employee Mario Santiago, was navigating a spill way when it was swept away by a strong current. Of the four passengers, only Samuel Gadi, was reported missing.
Gadi was also an employee of the local municipal government, police said. (Mindanao Examiner)
