PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Apr. 21, 2013) – Police said a group of gunmen torched the house of a Subanen tribal leader in Bayog town in Zamboanga del Sur province in the southern Philippines.
It said at least 15 gunmen burned the house of the 29-year old Endrilie Equit in the village of Liba.
he motive of the arson is unknown and police did not say whether there were occupants in the house, but claimed Equit himself reported the incident to the police.
Police said it is investigating the arson or who were behind it. (Mindanao Examiner)
