MANILA (Mindanao Examiner / Jan. 27, 2013) – Gunmen fired shots inside a packed shopping mall after robbing a jewellery store late Saturday in Mandaluyong City, police said.
It said at least 4 gunmen barged into the F and C Jewellery in SM Megamall and broke shelf glasses and carted away a still undetermined amount of jewelleries. One gunman fired his pistol to scare away shoppers as they escape. Police said one of the gunmen was injured from the broken shards of glass, but all of them remain unidentified. It was not immediately known how the men were able to pass the strict security in the mall. Police said it would review the video from the mall’s security television. Police said no civilians were injured or killed in the daring heist. (Mindanao Examiner) |
