PAGADIAN CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Jan. 19, 2013) – President Benigno Aquino has declared January 21 as a special non-working day in Pagadian City in line with the celebration of the “Pasalamat Festival,” that highlights the observance of the annual parochial fiesta.
President Benigno Aquino issued Proclamation No. 535, making Jan. 21 a special non-working day in Pagadian. With the holiday declaration, locals can join and participate in the special occasion, the Philippine Information Agency said.
Various activities have been lined up to give color to the celebration.(Gideon Corgue)
