PNP-2B2-2Bcopy10

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Five men, including a minor, held up a woman in downtown Zamboanga in southern Philippines despite the huge presence of policemen and soldiers guarding city’s main business district.

Sheila Sthepahan Agamata said she was waiting for ride outside Shoppers Plaza when a man accosted her and pointed a sharp object on her side and told her to go to a corner where the four others were waiting.

Agamata said the incident occurred at around 4.10 pm on December 10.

She said the men forcibly took all her foods that she bought at Jollibee and cakes, including P150 from her wallet before fleeing. She said the men told her they were hungry.

It was unknown if there were policemen in the area at the time of the incident, but the place is near the main police headquarters. (Mindanao Examiner)
