10 wounded in Zamboanga road collision

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Sept. 27, 2012) – At least 10 people were injured after the van they were riding collided head on with a truck carrying cooking gas on Thursday in Zamboanga City in the southern Philippines, village officials said.

Officials said the truck was trying to overtake a motorcycle when it collided with the passenger van in the village called Curuan. The wounded, among them a girl, were rushed to hospital.

There were no reports of casualties and police is investigating accident. (Mindanao Examiner)
