ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Aug. 17, 2012) – Villagers rushed to get water on a fire hydrant left open in downtown Zamboanga City in the southern Philippines.
Residents rushed and took turn in fetching potable water in Camino Nuevo. One villager said the fire hydrant was left open by an unidentified personnel allegedly working with the Zamboanga City Water District.
“They left it open and so we rushed to fetch water,” the villager told the Mindanao Examiner.
