Dinukot na barangay chairman pinalaya na!

ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Mar. 9, 2012) – Napalaya na umano ang isang barangay chairman na dinukot ng mga armadong kalalakihan sa bayan ng Indanan sa Sulu province matapos ng dalawang araw na pagkakabihag nito.

Sinabi ng pulisya na nakabalik na ng kanilang bahay si Rodimar Tingkahan matapos itong palayain ng mga armado nitong Huwebes sa Barangay Pasil. Hindi naman nagbigay ng anumang pahayag ang pamilya ni Tingkahan, ngunit sa ulat ng pulisya ay iniwan umano ang biktima sa nasabing barangay.

Hindi agad mabatid kung sino ang dumukot kay Tingkahan at kung may kinalaman ba ito sa away-pamilya o pagkakautang at kung sabit ang Abu Sayyaf dito.

Dinukot si  Tingkahan ng halos isang dosenang armado sa Barangay Sapah Malaun nuong Martes ng hapon, ngunit hindi naman ito inilabas ng pamilya sa media hanggang sa mabalitaan na lamang ng pulisya na laya na ito.

Pamilya ng mga pulis at pulitiko ang mga Tingkahan at ang ama ng biktima ay dating koronel ng pulisya. (Mindanao Examiner)
