
ZAMBOANGA CITY – Seven people were hurt when a motorcycle rammed a pedicab in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, police said Sunday.
Police said the pedicab, driven by 17-year old Jan Carl Tampal, with 5 passengers, including baby, was traveling in the village of Mercedes when the motorcycle collided with the bicycle.
The motorcycle driver, Edgar Atilano, 27, was said to be under the influence when the accident occurred.
Police said the driver and the victims were rushed to hospital and have been identified as Nenita Tampal, 35; Remie Juanito Clemente, 30, and her baby; Sanson Ramises, 27; and Silagan Tampal, 40. (Mindanao Examiner)
