
DIPOLOG CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Aug. 7, 2013) – Philippine authorities detained a U.S. national on charges of trespassing and harassment filed by a Filipino family in the southern region of Mindanao.
Police said the 54-year old Jackie Leo Davis, who lives in the village of Baybay in Zamboanga del Norte’s coastal town of Liloy, barged in the house of Rizalito Silva and laid down on the couch and urinated on a display cabinet.
Silva, 52, told police investigators that the American was apparently drank when he barged in the house on August 5.
A police report said Davis also held his penis and showed it to Silva’s 17-year old daughter and then followed her in the room a she ran screaming for help. The timely arrival of her father prevented the Davis from entering the teenager’s room.
Chief Inspector Ariel Huesca, a regional police spokesman, said Davis was arrested after Silva sought police assistance. Davis was first brought to the Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital for a routine medical check up before detaining him.
Silva has filed charges of “unjust vexation” against Davis with the local court under Judge Oscar Tomarong and “qualified trespass to dwelling” with Judge Anthony Isaw.
Police gave no other details about Davis and it was unknown whether the U.S. Embassy in Manila has been told about the American’s arrest. Davis was not immediately available to answer the accusations against him. (Mindanao Examiner)
