COTABATO CITY – Governor Mujiv Hataman of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and Public Works Secretary Don Mustapha Loong led the signing Tuesday of the Memorandum of Agreement with the mayors from Maguindanao, Lanao del Sur and Basilan provinces for the implementation of various infrastructure projects worth over P1.4 billion.

The signing ceremony was held at the Bajau Hall in the Office of the Bangsamoro People in Cotabato City. Among the projects provided in the MOA are the concreting and construction of roads, water systems and fish ports.

Secretary Loong said the project is expected to be rolled out this month.

Governor Hataman also inked another MOA with representatives of various ARMM agencies for the implementation of the Humanitarian and Development Action Plan (ARMM-HDAP).

Those who signed the MOA were Atty. Laisa Alamia, ARMM Executive Secretary, and Engr. Baintan Ampatuan, Executive Director of the Regional Planning and Development Office.

“The ARMM-HDAP is being implemented to uplift the living condition and situation of the people in conflict-affected areas in the region, specifically in the province of Maguindanao,” Secretary Alamia said, adding, the total project costs is about P1.2 billion. (Bureau of Public Information)
