“With the granting of bail to Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on the 2007 electoral sabotage, it is only frustrating as this shows the Aquino administration’s weak resolve to prosecute the hated president for her crimes against the people,” ani Zarate sa pahayag nito sa Mindanao Examiner.

“The grant of bail was expected, given that the case of electoral sabotage is weak in substance and this was filed to appear that Noynoy Aquino is running after GMA. If the Aquino government is serious in holding GMA and her cohorts accountable for the crimes against the people, it should have pursued more serious non-bailable cases against GMA. This include the plunder and grafted cases Bayan Muna filed against GMA on the NBN-ZTE deal and the malversation of the funds of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office,” wika pa ni Zarate.

(Mindanao Examiner)
