Bihag ng Sayyaf ang 5 tugboat crew namin – Malaysia

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Pormal ng kinumpirma ngayon Martes ng Malaysia ang pagkakadukot ng Abu Sayyaf sa 5 tugboat crewmen na napaulat na nawawala noon pang July 18 sa karagatan ng Sabah.

Mismong si Police Inspector-General Police Khalid Abu Bakar ang nagsabing Abu Sayyaf ang nasa likod ng pagdukot. 

Agad rin sinisi ng pulisya sa Malaysia ang may-ari ng tugboat dahil sa kabiguan umano nitong sundin ang patakaran na pinaiiral sa Sabah sa mga naglalayag doon.

Naunang inulat ng Mindanao Examiner Regional Newspaper noon pang nakaraang linggo na hawak na ng Abu Sayyaf ang 5 Malaysian sailors matapos na tumawag ang isa sa mga bihag sa kanilang kumpanya upang sabihing nasa Basilan province na sila.

At humihingi ng P200 million ransoms ang mga kidnappers kapalit ng kalayaan ng mga bihag, ayon kay Tayudin Anjut, 45, sa ulat na inilabas ng Borneo Post. 

Hindi naman agad makumpirma ito ng Western Mindanao Command at pulisya sa Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao at wala rin balita sa iba pang mga bihag na sina Abd Rahim Summas, 62, Fandy Bakran, 26, Mohd Zumadil Rahim, 23 at Mohd Ridzuan Ismail, 32, na pawang mga crew ng tugboat Seruduna 3.
