A bodyguard shot at two men attacking his employer with machetes in Jalan Empat, off Jalan Chan Sow Lin in Kuala Lumpur today, reports The Star Online.
The victim, who is a businessman, and the bodyguard were having breakfast with a colleague at the side of the road when he was set upon by the two men.
The stall owner, identified as Madam Wong, 50, said the two attackers came running up and slashed at the victim.
“The bodyguard took out his pistol and fired six, seven times at the attackers, hitting one of them.
“My nephew, who is helping out at the stall, was accidentally hit in the buttocks by one of the bullets,” she said at the scene.
The unhurt attacker escaped while his accomplice, the businessman and the stallholder’s nephew were rushed to hospital.(The Malaysian Insider)
