ZAMBOANGA CITY (Mindanao Examiner / Nov. 21, 2013) – A 12-year old boy was shot while illegally fishing at a private fish pond in Zamboanga City in southern Philippines, police said Thursday.
Police said Jornabe Adang was rushed by his father, Mario Adang, to the hospital after being shot in the stomach. The victim’s father and four other minors were also illegally fishing at the fish pond owned by Eddie Alvarez in the village of Zambowood.
No individual claimed responsibility for the shooting. Police said the shooter fled on foot after the attack. (Mindanao Examiner)
