
MANILA – At least three people were killed and dozens more injured after their bus fell off a ravine at dawn Sunday on a remote village in the town of Pagbilao in Quezon province, police said.
Police said the driver lost his control of the bus after its break malfunction and plunged into the deep ravine near the village called Upper Sapinit.
The bus was heading to Manila from Masbate when the accident occurred.
Police said it is investigating the accident. The driver and his conductor survived the fall, but were among those wounded and currently in the hospital. (Mindanao Examiner)
