DAVAO CITY – At least 45 people were injured on Monday when a passenger bus overshot the wet and slippery highway in Prosperidad town in Agusan del Sur province in southern Philippines, reports said.
The bus, owned by Bachelor Express, was travelling to Butuan City from Davao City when the accident occurred in the village called Awa.
The driver apparently lost control of the bus. The passengers were rushed at the provincial hospital and San Francisco Doctors Hospital. The identities of the injured passengers were not immediately available. (Mindanao Examiner)
